“He who sees me, sees himself.”-Zayn Malik, The Artist and his Hair. The first time I saw Zayn was at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards when he starred on "The View." At that moment I knew that he would be a great superstar in our generation. From then on, I started following him on Instagram and followed his life as if it was my own personal one. It has been almost three years now since I have seen Zayn in real life and I want to share with you all some of my memories from this talented man. In 2019, I decided I wanted to become an entrepreneur. That is why I decided to start Vocal+. With that, I started documenting myself with the help of a camera and video editing app called Fiverr (or Gigs). To make up for being unable to see Zayn (although it's okay cause I am an introvert), I bought multiple cameras, a tripod and other interesting tech stuff, which I used at different times throughout 2020 and 2021 to capture every single moment. I became obsessed with seeing every little detail of what a professional photographer takes into account : the lighting, textures, shadows, colors, etc. Therefore, whenever working with a pro and shooting photos for them or even just by myself with the iPhone, I always ask myself : "What do I need to take into consideration for someone else to consider my shots worthy?" Although sometimes I also have to work through my fear or nerves before starting to shoot because I know we won't make any money here and we don't want anyone selling our stock photos on social media. Hence, this may sound cheesy but if I ever face the same problem again, I don't want anybody to sell our content if they think it's not valuable anymore. So, these are only my experiences, though as I write this story, I can already tell that there might be people who have similar experiences and will have similar answers. So, let's have a look: 1- How Does My Own Hair Style Change When Working With A Professional? Sometimes, having a good relationship with my hair is of great importance. For example, when I had to cut down all my mohair for a job interview and the first time I felt nervous before doing something new, I asked my co-worker if I could change my hair or she helped me with that too? We could easily say: "yes, sure" and that was exactly because I trusted her and she helped me with everything during my last part of quarantine. 2- What Are Some Of The Challenges And Problems You Have While Growing Up? Growing up, I had no idea what kind of career I wanted to do (well, I didn't actually know I wanted to be a designer). But later on, after seeing many professionals in their careers, I realized that maybe I wasn't too young to start my own brand from scratch and that is exactly what i did. 3- Which Is Your Favorite Musical Instrument? My favorite musical instrument would definitely be Rock n Roll, however, I also love Pop music. Since childhood I've listened to various types of genres like rock, pop and R & B. Personally, I love Blues, Jazz, Metal, Funk and Alternative songs. 4- Who Do You Follow On Social Media? (@zaznymalik ) Some months ago, I decided to start using Tiktok to catch everyone's attention and show off my videos. Once I gained a bit more followers on the channel, I began to notice that several celebrities were watching my clips and following me back. I figured that was pretty cool until they became my friends and now that I'm older, I've discovered that the main reason why celebrity girls liked me is probably to learn new tips and tricks from me. Let me give you another fun fact, I only follow people who make me laugh every day. So, yes, I believe I am somewhat popular with lots of celebrities. However, I try to stay away from controversial issues and keep things serious and positive. 5- Where Would Your Family Be Now? I can say right here that this question is rather boring. There are millions of stories of parents losing hope and giving up on raising children and taking them for granted. As soon as the child realizes that they are going to live in a house in their 20s and 30s, they start forgetting about life and trying to find meaning in their lives again. Not to mention that kids nowadays tend to live alone. This is especially troubling for teenagers and adolescents because nobody really knows where they will land in the future. So, what should people do to solve this issue? Well, I think that parents should have conversations with themselves and acknowledge their fears the most. Because, as I mentioned earlier, being afraid is normal and natural and therefore something you can control. It's better to be open to unknown possibilities than to dwell on fear and doubt constantly. Moreover, if you're worried, you know exactly which answer to choose. Just choose the one that works best for you. 6- Do You Believe Anyone Can Make Millions One Day? If somebody wants to make millions one day, he/she surely can. No matter the situation, no doubt this guy does or will make big money someday. It's completely possible that he will have a brilliant career path that will help him earn billions. He might have a lot of money and a successful family, but who knows what other things he will accomplish in his lifetime. 7- Did You Fail At School Or College Even Though You Were Successful In Life? I remember attending a college course back in 2017. One of the topics that interested me was Entrepreneurship. Honestly, entrepreneurship isn't easy and anyone can struggle with it.
